WHAT IS ADVENTURE OF A LIFETIME?

Adventure Of A Lifetime (AOALT for short) is an independently made webcomic about Bender (cat pictured above) and his friends who, after rescuing a princess from an evil witch, join in the fight to protect her home, the Flower Kingdom, from the Monster King and his minions.

The story tackles themes of justice, forgiveness, love, abuse, trauma, and identity, exploring the inner lives of the characters and their individual perspectives on the war. This comic is not intended for children and features violence, gore, language, and sensitive content.

Howdy! On Newgrounds I go by Pandebonium, but on other platforms I go by SomeoneWithAPen (SWAP for short). I’m a hobbyist artist and writer who loves nature, comics, and cartoons! I’m a big fan of things like Deltarune, ENA, Studio Ghibli, and more. My goal with AOALT is to tell a story that balances the wacky and silly aspects of cartoons with the more complicated aspects of real life. While these characters fight dragons and save princesses from witches, I hope that you can still relate to the more nuanced aspects of their interior lives.

Big news! My original webcomic, Adventure of A Lifetime, is now in the drawing phase! That means I am now working on the actual pages for the comic! It’s a little frightening but also really exciting because I get to see all my work finally come to fruition after two years of planning. I’ve never gotten this far in such a big project before! Unfortunately, I probably won’t be able to make a (not AOALT) mini comic in time for Newgrounds Jump, which is a little disappointing, but I think that it’s good I start working on this project which is much more long term.

The comic is expected to start sometime this summer, as I want to create a buffer before I officially begin uploading pages. But it might come out even earlier if I finish them fast enough!

Hello everyone! I am currently working on a parody of the title opening “Lum no Love Song” from Urusei Yatsura featuring my ocs. Im new to Newgrounds and I’m not sure if it would be allowed to upload the finished product due to the music. What should I do?

Howdy! My name is SWAP and I make art, animations, and comics! I am self taught and currently a hobbyist, but I hope to someday make art as a career. Aside from 2D art, I also make sculptures and customize LPS sometimes (I also hope to dabble in stopmotion and mixed media animation at some point). I’ve never used Newgrounds before, so please don’t bully me if I do something wrong (I have read the rules, but like if I don’t understand how certain features work exactly that’s why. I’m still learning!). Lastly, please keep in mind that I am a minor when interacting with me.
