I love how the more he tries to become perfect the worse he looks. Perfection is impossible and if you try to achieve it, you end up ruining whatever it was you were trying to make. The beauty of art lies in its flaws. The problem with A.I. is that it’s so worried about being perfect all the time that it ends up creating images that are ultimately soulless. Getting better at art isn’t necessarily about getting rid of its flaws, but rather making those flaws more appealing and using them to your advantage to have a greater emotional impact on the viewer. Art isn’t perfect, and that’s what makes it beautiful.
